AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A GUEST OR DESIGNATED DRIVER THAT DOES NOT WANT TO PARTICIPATE? 

Unfortunately, due to our limited seating we cannot reserve spots for guests not participating. In the event that we have spare seats at the start of the experience, that individual can take an unused spot. However, that guest may not participate in any tasting. If the guest is seen tasting from any glasses, they will be assessed a tasting fee of $50. Another option is to have them hang out in the retail area or visit our basement cocktail lounge, Trial+Error (21+ only).

We are not be able to accommodate tasting-only passes during the booking process and only have stand-by seating based on capacity limitations. To purchase a tasting-only ticket, please arrive 20 minutes prior to your experience and someone on our team will be able to let you know if the session is full. A tasting-only ticket is $50 and only available based on stand-by seating capacity. There is also Trial+Error, our basement cocktail lounge that can keep them entertained in the chance they can’t join (21+ only).

Our experiences are based on education and consumption of alcohol, so we regrettably cannot allow any person under the age of 21, including infants and children, into our classrooms.

We allow service animals. We do not allow pets for safety reasons.

Yes! Pursuit Spirits on Whiskey Row is now an official Kentucky Bourbon Trail® destination in downtown Louisville. Guests can visit us for guided tastings, our fill-your-own-bottle experience, bottle shopping, cocktails at Trial+Error, and a behind-the-scenes look at the home of the Bourbon Pursuit podcast.

Pursuit Spirits offers four experiences at 722 W. Main Street in Louisville. Discover The Pursuit Tasting is $35 for 45 minutes and guides you through six bourbon and rye whiskeys including distillery-only expressions. Choose Your Own Cocktail Adventure is $40 for 60 minutes and is offered Thursday through Saturday. The Whole Shebang is $150 for 90 minutes and includes a tasting, a personal private barrel selection, a hand-filled Pursuit United Private Select bottle at 108 proof, and a $15 tasting glass. Founder Hour is $150 for 90 minutes with a co-founder and is available by request only for groups of four to eight.

Discover The Pursuit Tasting runs 45 minutes. Choose Your Own Cocktail Adventure runs 60 minutes. The Whole Shebang, which includes the tasting, your private barrel selection and filling your own bottle, runs 90 minutes. Founder Hour also runs 90 minutes. All experiences take place at 722 W. Main Street, Suite 100, in Louisville’s Whiskey Row district, and all are 21+.

The Whole Shebang is Pursuit Spirits’ full experience, priced at $150 and running 90 minutes. You taste through multiple expressions of our award-winning small batch bourbon and rye and learn about the mash bills and blending processes behind each one. You then take part in your own personal private barrel selection, tasting multiple Pursuit United Private Select bourbons and ryes and choosing your favorite. You fill your own bottle by hand from the barrel with a whiskey thief at 108 proof, then cork, label and seal it yourself as a one-of-a-kind souvenir. The bottle and a $15 tasting glass are included, along with additional pours of limited offerings from our gift shop.

Yes, through The Whole Shebang!

Yes. Choose Your Own Cocktail Adventure is $40 and is offered Thursday through Saturday, led by an expert member of the Trial + Error bar staff. You start with a base spirit selection and build your own drink from there, learning how flavors are constructed and picking up techniques you can use at home. Cocktail options change seasonally.

Yes. Larger parties can be accommodated for The Whole Shebang and other experiences by request. Email [email protected] to arrange a group booking. Founder Hour is designed for groups of four to eight.

Pursuit Spirits on Whiskey Row is at 722 W. Main Street, Suite 100, Louisville, KY 40202, in downtown Louisville’s Whiskey Row district. This is the only Pursuit Spirits location open to the public. Our Mellwood Avenue facility is used for blending, bottling and warehousing and offers no guest experiences.
