Built on the same base as our award-winning Pursuit United Rye whiskey, Double Oak Rye showcases a new stave profile using french oak that has been lightly toasted and heavily charred for the secondary maturation. The finished product boasts a rich mahogany color and full-bodied flavor showcasing an oak profile with whiskeys three times its age. This one will captivate every rye whiskey enthusiast.

Tasting Notes

NOSE

Opens with the aroma of fresh-baked cherry pie. Followed by bright notes of cranberry, while spices of cardamom and nutmeg add depth and complexity.

TASTE

Buttered brown sugar crumbles, evoking memories of a fruit crisp dessert. Balanced by the tartness of fresh cherries. A rich berry medley jam flavor rounds out the taste.

FINISH

Cherry pipe tobacco lends a sophisticated edge. Followed by hints of charred oak, giving it an old whiskey character providing a gentle warmth that lingers on the palate.
