Introducing Old Anvil, a distinguished 11-year-old Kentucky bourbon bottled at barrel proof, offering a robust and unfiltered taste of time-honored maturation. The name Old Anvil harkens back to a brand that was bottled at General Distillers in Louisville. According to Chuck Cowdery, this brand was described as “most likely a small, local, short-lived brand, possibly even a one-time thing” so we also created Old Anvil as a one-time release.

NOSE
Opens with the nostalgic scent of a root beer float, offering a creamy sweetness that is complemented by delicate honeysuckle. A bright touch of orange marmalade adds a zesty citrus lift.
TASTE
A delightful fusion of orange vanilla cola and Madagascar vanilla bean, creating a smooth, rounded flavor profile. Fig biscuit contributes a subtle, fruity warmth, adding a touch of sweetness.
FINISH
Long and satisfying, as cinnamon vanilla frosting and candied orange provide a sweet, comforting warmth. Next up is a wave of sweet oak, with lingering hints of allspice rounding out the profile.
